Note: To complete this procedure, you need the fully qualified domain name of the NuPoint Unified Messaging server. Refer to your System Administrator for this information.
Start Microsoft Outlook.
Select Mailbox from the folder list. The Outlook Today folder will load.
Right-click on the Mailbox folder and select New Folder.
Type a name for the new folder, and then click OK.
Right-click the new folder in the folder list, and select Properties.
In the Address field, type the fully
qualified domain name for the NuPoint Unified Messaging server, in
the following format:
http://<server name>.<domain name>.<top level domain
name>/npm-pwg
On the Home Page tab, select the Show home page by default for this folder option.
Click OK.
The configuration of Microsoft Outlook for Unified Messaging is complete. You now have access to your voice mail, RAC, and fax messages through the folder you created. To access these messages, you must use the same username and password that you use for accessing your mailbox through the telephone.
Note: If you get a security error when trying to access your Messages folder, you must install a security certificate.
